Leather Goods Hand Crafted in Tennessee, USA

Mi Casa Bella uses one of nature's most beautiful and timeless ingredients ~ leather ~ to create unique home and fashion accessories that complement a person's style. Linda's work with leather began as a hobby in 2015, when she created small leather bags and pillows. After moving from Maryland to North Carolina in 2016, Linda met a 3rd generation professional leather worker from Bulgaria who taught her the art of designing and making leather bags. He used to design patterns for COACH and DOONEY & BOURKE.

The name of the business, Mi Casa Bella, is based on the Italian "BELLA CASA" for beautiful home. Linda's roots in leather working run deep. Her grandfather was raised in the Northern Italian region of Veneto, world renowned for leather working and fashion. His family owned a shoe factory, which from 1889 to the 1970's produced the iconic "Gasparotto shoe".

Her philosophy is to use ethically sourced materials to create beautiful, minimalist and functional art. All of the animals that the hides originate from are used for food in places like Brazil and South Africa, leaving the hides to be "up cycled" into other products. The African Springbok Antelope is overabundant and is culled by the government to prevent overpopulation.

All of Mi Casa Bella's unique products are carefully designed and handmade by Linda in her Gulf Breeze, Florida studio.

Mi Casa Bella is starting our 11th year as a company in 2019. Linda and her husband Hank, have decided to collaborate on a new line of FURNITURE. Hank is a retired engineer and self taught wood worker. The first product in our line is a WALNUT OTTOMAN upholstered with BRAZILIAN Calf hair leather.
